Mt Crosby Basketball Club and Ipswich Basketball Association (IBA) Registration Fees

Mt Crosby Basketball Club registration fees for this year are required to be paid by 3rd game of the season. Fees can either be paid per season, at $40.00/season or a discounted annual fee of $70 for both seasons. Mt Crosby Basketball Club has adopted a NO PAY/NO PLAY policy which is strictly enforced as per IBA policies.

Preferred method of payment is EFT to the club’s Heritage bank account. Details are:

IBA registration fees are payable directly to Ipswich Basketball Association.
Their current fees are:-

Game Fees
Each week, every team is required to pay court fees to the IBA. Game fees are $10.00 per player, per week. This money is to be paid to your team manager ASAP on arrival to the stadium, to ensure timely payment to IBA. Fees must be paid prior to the game commencing. Any additional funds remaining at the end of the season will go towards Skills Training workshops for the players the following season.

Training Information
Training will be held every week throughout the season, unless otherwise advised by your coach or manager. Please ensure to send your child to training with their own water bottle. Basketballs are supplied at training.

Please advise your coach if you are unable to make training.

Game Information
Mt Crosby Basketball Club is affiliated with the Ipswich Basketball Association and all fixture games are played at “Cotton On Foundation Stadium” (Ipswich Basketball Stadium), 2A Ross Llewellyn Drive, Booval. Fixture draws will be notified to you by your team manager when possible or can be accessed on the Ipswich Basketball link below, from the Fixtures/Results dropdown tab.


On occasion, game times may be altered without notification. It is advised you check the website on a regular basis. However, the Mt Crosby Basketball Club will endeavour to keep you up to date of any changes.

Please ensure that you are at the Stadium at least 15 minutes prior to the game time. This gives players ample time to change into their uniforms and warm up.

This also gives our team managers enough time to ensure game fees are paid in a timely manner.

Can’t Play!
It is essential you notify the Team Manager or Coach, as soon as possible, if your child is unable to play. An attempt can then be made to find a replacement player as soon as possible. Contact details will be advised within the first training session of each season.

Hydration
Please ensure your child has a water bottle at both training and the game. The Team Manager will refill the water bottles during the game as required.

Uniforms
Uniforms are supplied by the Club. They consist of a jersey and shorts. The Team Manager holds onto the uniforms and will distribute them to each player on the game day. After the match, they are to be returned to the Team Manager for laundering. They are NOT to be taken home by players.

Spectators and Team Support
Unless you are on a roster for scoring, all spectators must sit either in the grandstand or allocated seating. The player’s bench is for players, coaches and managers only.

Mt Crosby Basketball Club endorses the Code of Conduct of the Ipswich Basketball Association. We encourage and promote players to play fair and respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

What a day
The end of season break-up was great. The weather was fantastic. Thanks everyone for coming.

Welcome to the new committtee headed up by Sonya and with a great support crew. It is good to see so many people wanting to ensure that the club has a good future.
