New Training Times.

To try and give players more time to build skills and team work we are stretching training times to an hour. New training times are below.
Mondays
5 – 6pm Under 10’s
6 – 7pm Under 12 Girls
7 – 8pm Under 14 and Open Girls
Tuesday
5 – 6pm Under 12 Boys

New Season Commences 15 July
|
The new season commences the first week back at school, with the Open Girls and Women playing on Tuesday 15 July. Training will re-start on Monday 14th (Yes, I know it’s a pupil free day).

New IBA Competition
|
|
IBA is trialling an “Aussie Hoops” style competition to introduce players from U6 to U12 to the game. A group of experienced coaches from across the IBA clubs will support the competition so that players have a lot of fun but also learn the skills to help them join the mainstream competition. |

Congratulations
|
Madonna’s won the D Grade women’s final. In their first season in this level the Madonna’s took out the game in a tight one. Having beaten all comers most of the season, but coming in to the finals from a loss, the nerves were really evident. Well done girls.
Also in a close game the Mavericks went down to the Cougars in the finals. The team struggled for players all season so making the finals was a great achievement. Even though they lost the grand final the boys have a lot to be proud of.
